Aly Yokoyama
Head Coach
This is Ali third year coaching the Waves swim team. She swam with the wave swim team, and learned how to swim here when was 6 years old! She attends Cornell University, pursuing a pre-law major while continuing her swimming career in college! She swam for Hart High School and her favorite stroke is backstroke! Her favorite part about coaching is seeing the progress from the 6 & unders all the way to the 15-16 swimmers, as well as swimming in the coaches relay!
Patrick Grant
Head Coach
Patrick swam for 12 years on Canyons Aquatic Club and competed in high school for West Ranch. Passing down his love for swimming is something he looks forward to in his third year as a Waves coach. In his free time, Patrick loves to fish and watch the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Sierra Smith
Assistant Coach
Sierra swimmer for 20 years, starting on the Waves Swim Team! She loves being around the pool lifeguarding and coaching. She loves teaching swim lessons most of all! Outside of the pool, she loves adventuring, cooking, eating, hiking, beaching, reading, singing, drawing, dancing, running, and walking on the paseos. She is excited to share her swimming knowledge, cheer the loudest at meets, and have so much fun with everyone this summer!
Nikki Riggs
Assistant Coach
Nikki has been swimming for 14 years, and now she gets to coach and share what she loves. She is all about helping swimmers improve, have fun, and not totally hate practice and will be the kids #1 cheerleader!
